Roopin is the founder and principal trainer at Kushi. She is a tri-cultural, native English speaker who also speaks French, Italian and Punjabi. As a coach, Roopin uses questioning techniques that lead to actionable solutions. As a trainer, Roopin works on identifying needs and then developing the pedagogy necessary to realize the expected results.
She has been providing training for business professionals in the Paris region since 2008 and coaching since 2016. Before then, Roopin was working in marketing communications and completing strategic market studies.
Roopin is committed to life-long learning and has a BSc in Psychology, an IMBA in Marketing Strategy, a CELTA (Cambridge University’s EFL Teaching Certificate) as well as certificates in coaching (Modules 1 and 2), non-violent communication (Fundamental Modules) and internal family system (Basics). She regularly follows courses on pedagogical methods and techniques.
Her great passions are sustainable development, personal development, connecting people and ideas, learning, singing and laughing. Her moments of great professional satisfaction occur when she and the client are in the zone and she is participating in : their learning, ‘solution discovery’ and their wins – from getting that promotion to daring to participate more actively in meetings.
She is a member of McGill and Schulich School of business networks, as well as part of the European Professional Women’s Network.
